Why I Started Health Info Guides

Health information can feel difficult to understand when it is filled with medical terminology, technical explanations or unsupported claims. Many readers simply want a clear introduction that helps them understand a topic and identify sensible next steps.

I created Health Info Guides to publish educational articles in plain English for everyday readers, parents and caregivers. The goal is to make reliable health and wellness information easier to navigate without presenting general content as personalised medical advice.

Topics I Cover

  • Nutrition and balanced eating
  • Fitness, walking and daily movement
  • Sleep, routines and general wellness
  • Stress management and mindfulness
  • Autism awareness and caregiver guidance
  • Beginner-friendly educational health guides

Research and Editorial Approach

My role is to research, organise and explain health information—not to diagnose conditions or provide individual treatment recommendations. Each article is developed with an emphasis on clarity, responsible wording and source quality.

```
  1. Select a practical reader question. Topics are chosen around common questions about nutrition, movement, wellness, mental well-being and autism awareness.
  2. Review reputable sources. Preference is given to government health agencies, universities, recognised professional organisations and peer-reviewed research.
  3. Write in clear, cautious language. Articles avoid miracle claims, unnecessary technical language, diagnoses and guaranteed-result promises.
  4. Check and update the article. Content is reviewed for readability, source support, internal consistency and outdated information.
My work follows the research, evidence-checking, transparency, update and correction standards described in the Health Info Guides Editorial Policy & Review Process. That policy also explains how AI-assisted tools may be used in the editorial workflow and why AI output is not treated as medical evidence or professional review.
Education and Background
I hold a B.Tech Honors degree in Telecommunications. My academic background is in technology—not medicine, nutrition, psychology or another licensed healthcare profession.
This technical background has helped me develop a structured approach to research, information organisation, problem-solving and explaining complex material. I apply those skills when preparing educational content for Health Info Guides.
External Publications & Contributions
In addition to publishing Health Info Guides, I contribute educational content to external publications when a topic fits their readership.
Professional Transparency
I am not a doctor, registered dietitian, psychologist, therapist or licensed healthcare professional.
Unless an article clearly states otherwise and identifies the qualified reviewer, Health Info Guides content has not been medically or professionally reviewed. Editorial review and evidence checking are not the same as medical review. Articles are intended for general education and should not replace diagnosis, treatment or personalised advice from a qualified professional.
Editorial Standards and Updates
Health Info Guides aims to publish content that is clear, balanced, practical and appropriately cautious. The website avoids exaggerated claims, miracle cures, fear-based wording and unsupported medical advice.
Older articles may be updated to improve readability, add stronger references, correct outdated information, clarify limitations or align the content with newer guidance.
